Data Product Manager (Part-Time)

Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

Position Summary:

Capital Rx is seeking a part-time Data Product Manager to lead the development and management of data-driven products. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions that support business objectives and enhance decision-making processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for data products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into data product requirements.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and prioritize product roadmaps and backlogs.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive enhancements and ensure product success.
  • Communicate product updates and status to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelorís degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, specifically with data products or data-driven solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, data management, and data visualization.
  • Proven ability to manage product lifecycles and deliver successful data products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masterís degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Base Salary: $75-$83 per hour
