Associate Project Manager

Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area or Denver, CO)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented?Associate Project Manager?to support the planning and execution of key projects across cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, agile environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Project Support & Coordination

  • Assist in managing one or more projects, supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Help define project scope and objectives in collaboration with senior project managers and stakeholders.

  • Track project milestones and ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with Capital Rx’s agile framework.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams (sales, operations, compliance, product, scrum teams) to identify project needs.

  • Communicate regularly with product managers and scrum teams to support roadmap tracking and task accountability.

  • Support coordination of meetings, follow-ups, and action items across teams.

Communication & Risk Awareness

  • Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders through status updates and meeting participation.

  • Assist in identifying and tracking project risks, and support the preparation of mitigation plans for review by senior leadership.

  • Help prepare and present project updates to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Tools & Process Support

  • Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track tasks and progress.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards under the guidance of senior project managers.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning.

  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.

A Successful Contributor has:

  • 1–2 years of experience supporting projects in a cross-functional environment.

  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).

  • Interest in agile methodologies and compliance-driven environments.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • 1–2 years of experience in a project coordination or junior project management role.

  • Experience in healthcare, PBM, or health tech environments is a plus.

  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required.

Base Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

This position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals.
